Laughter – That other Daily Routine

Ayurveda has quite a lot of daily routines, all very beneficial to your body, mind, and soul. My intention is to always create an “East meets West” union in my dedication and promotion of Ayurveda, and although laughter is not on the list of Ayurvedic daily routines, it should be! sunrise-essential-ayurveda.jpg

According to Ayurveda changing our viewpoint can help us heal and laughter has the innate ability to do just that. If we only focus on our troubles, we see with limited vision and these troubles control us. 
When we take time to laugh and play we take care of ourselves and for a while some of our sanity is restored.
A good chuckle or boisterous laugh can lift our spirits and cleanse our mind, refreshing you and adding lightness to your day.

So go out and make laughter happen for you today! Watch a funny movie, or ridiculous sitcom, take a Laughing Yoga class, or call that uncle who always tells a joke that cracks you up.
