What? How the heck can that be you ask?
It’s the simple fact that Cream Deodorants deliver far more of the odor eating stuff than a stick can.
And the reason for that is because a stick needs to be a stick, it needs something in it to “stick” all the odor eating things into a solid.
Some products use a solidifier like Bees wax, Candelilla wax and even Ozokerite wax. The thing is they’re not quickly absorbable which is what we want in an underarm deodorant, especially since we’re usually getting dressed right away!
Other products use binders like Arrowroot, Corn Starch or Tapioca Starch, but these aren’t readily absorbable and can leave white marks on cloths.
And let’s face it, most corn is GMO, so why would you use corn-based ingredients like Glucose, or Corn Starch or Cyclodextrin, who wants to put that on your skin.
Cream deodorants don’t use binders or solidifiers, so ounce for ounce, cream deodorants deliver much more antibacterial oils and ingredients than a stick and you only need a pea-sized amount to last all day.
And there may be a few folks who’re saying “hmmm it’s a little weird to put deodorant on with my finger”. In Ayurveda we have Abhyanga, a self-massage with oil which is especially grounding and enhances our well-being. Applying cream deodorant is like a mini Abhyanga, try it and feel yourself relax for the day ahead. Ahhhh, it feels good…
Cream Deodorants from Essential Ayurveda are whipped to a luxurious frosting consistency from organic oils and organic essential oils.
Our Underarm Cream Deodorant uses just enough Baking Soda to make it really effective.
