Thankfully experimentation with Beeswax continued and today we know that Beeswax has many benefits.

It has a very unique characteristic, it acts as a breathable, protective layer on the surface of the skin which helps to keep water out while keeping water in.

Beeswax contains the natural hydrating ingredient Vitamin A that increases essential moisture in the skin.

As wonderful as all this is, Beeswax also delivers effective anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and anti-bacterial, qualities that are all healthful to the skin.

I love my vegan friends and I promise I will continue to experiment with alternatives. But so far, I have found there is simply no other natural product that offers the same protection and silky feel as Beeswax. And unlike other ingredients Beeswax doesn’t clog pores and isn’t GMO.
